Monoclonal Antibody treatment in Alaska

Many communities in Alaska have received monoclonal antibody therapy for the early treatment of symptomatic COVID-19 disease.

The Alaska Airlines Center at UAA has opened as an infusion center for the administration of the monoclonal antibody for Anchorage residents.

Physicians outside the Anchorage area should contact their local hospital.  Rural hospitals have received allocations of monoclonal antibody infusions and are managing administration in various different ways.  Your local hospital is your best resource.

COVID VACCINE ADMINISTERED In ALASKA

Alaska medical providers:  If you are thinking about providing COVID-19 vaccination in your practice when it becomes available you will want to check out these two State of Alaska sites.  You must register with the state if you want to provide COVID-19 vaccine and this registration is separate and in addition to any other vaccine registration you may already have.  The state has submitted its vaccine plan to the federal government and will begin registering providers once it is approved.
